Does having just 11 guests at a wedding sound boring? Not to us! Allow us to share how we organized a Russian-English wedding in Abu Dhabi for Joseph and Shakhrizoda.
The bride contacted us, expressing her wish for an intimate, family-centered wedding solely for their closest loved ones. The couple desired a family celebration, and during our discussions with the bride, we discovered her passion for flowers. She expressed a desire for the venue to be immersed in floral compositions. Taking her dream as the foundation of the concept, we began brainstorming the decor details.
The newlyweds decided on EMIRATES PALACE in Abu Dhabi as their venue of choice for the celebration. Their wedding was a unique fusion of Russian and English traditions, with an experienced officiant crafting personalized speeches for both the groom and the bride in both languages.
“Your eyes shine with love, mirroring each other's affection. This moment is unique. Cherish it. You stand at the altar, with your closest and most beloved by your side.
Close your eyes for a moment. Remember the day you met, what the weather was like, what you were wearing, what emotions you felt. Remember your first walks and your first trip together»
To create an intimate and cozy ambiance for the celebration, we designed a special structure adorned with white flowers, illuminating beautifully in the dark. The warm atmosphere was further enhanced by sparkling garlands, adding extra charm and coziness to the evening.
Special attention should be given to the venue setup for the celebration. We decorated it with 35,000 (!) flowers. The installation process took over 30 hours, with the dedicated work of more than 30 florists. We successfully transformed the space: originally brown, the venue was turned into a pristine white wonderland as per the bride's wishes.
The couple perfectly matched the wedding theme: the groom wore a light white shirt and trousers that allowed easy movement and were perfect for the family celebration. As for the bride, she exuded elegance. She wore a long white dress with delicate shoulder straps, adorned with sparkling sequins. Her ensemble was finished with a flowing veil and hair ornament. Clutched in her hands was a voluminous bouquet of white peonies.
Against the backdrop of palm trees, the couple appeared effortlessly in seamless connection, embracing each other tightly. Their attire, both simple and elegant, aligned perfectly with the "white" theme.
A unique feature of the wedding was its lack of a host. The entire schedule was structured around cohesive elements: beginning with the ceremony and transitioning to dinner. Adding to the familial vibe were acts by a close-up magician, a cover band, and a dazzling fire show that left every guest in awe.
We built a beautiful stage and designed content incorporating the couple's logo. Continuous footage, specially crafted for the couple, was displayed on the screen throughout the event.
It was important to involve the little guests as well: the children first carried the rings, and then they blew soap bubbles during the cake cutting. Everyone laughed and enjoyed the process. The couple also invited entertainers for the kids—various workshops were held on the premises, where children had fun and enjoyed themselves just like the adults.
The two-tiered cake matched the venue's style: white, minimalist, with unique decorations in the same color scheme. The evening ended with a heartwarming finale as fireworks lit up the shores of the Persian Gulf.
The wedding served as a vibrant and unforgettable highlight in the couple's journey. Wishing Joseph and Shakhrizoda a lifetime filled with love and understanding!
